25 May is International Missing Children’s Day. Each year on this day, the civic association Linka bezpečí (Safety Line) organises a fundraising event in the Czech Republic called Forget-Me-Not Day. People can contribute by purchasing a forget-me-not by means of a text message donation or direct gift. In previous years, this event was promoted mainly through outdoor advertising, but this year we chose a completely different route: We sent a “lost child” into the streets (under strictly monitored conditions) and filmed people’s reactions using three hidden cameras. The output was a video, press release and press conference.
