Jonathan has spent the past 20 years pioneering the untraditional with the robustness and measurement of the traditional. He founded Amplify in 2008 with the ambition to create a home for creative clients and people. Believing we have a collective responsibility to ‘pass the baton on,’ it’s young creatives and audiences he looks to for inspiration, creativity, collaboration, cultural developments and generally to see what’s next. Jonathan has been named as Campaign’s most influential person in events in years past (much to the amusement of the Amplify team!), and Amplify is currently Campaign's Agency of the Decade, Global Brand Experience Agency of the Year 2023 and Global Independent Brand Experience Agency of the Year 2023.
Dan is responsible for the strategic output of the agency, ensuring every campaign is built on the right foundations of audience connection, cultural intelligence and measurable impact. He calls on 20+ years of experience in marketing and communications, working with businesses and brands that span the cultural spectrum from Google, Bloomberg and Meta to Jack Daniels, Lego and Hugo. Dan leads Amplify’s insight and strategy teams across the globe and our wider network of partner agencies, providing senior counsel to our clients, as well as leading key business relationships.
As Chief Creative Officer at Amplify, Jeavon Smith is at the forefront of ideas-led thinking, not just within Amplify but also within the wider industry. Prior to this, during his ten-year career at Jack Morton, Smith launched the agency’s Seoul office before becoming VP, Creative Director and later joining Amplify in 2016. At Amplify, Smith has trebled the agency’s creative department and capabilities. Notable highlights helmed under his stewardship include the multi-award-winning Google Curiosity Rooms, Airbnb Night at the Louvre and PlayStation 5 Play Has No Limits. Smith is also key in Amplify’s ongoing international expansion, ensuring the agency’s bar-setting standards are seamlessly translated to overseas markets.
Sophy is responsible for Amplify’s UK strategy and amplification output and works closely with Amplify’s CSO on global and group strategy output. Amplify’s strategy team brings diverse perspectives and experiences to every brief, so whatever the brand or business challenge, our audience understanding, pragmatic approach and cultural expertise ensure the work is grounded, impactful and resonant. Over the last five years, the strategy team has tripled in size and now covers global work ranging from research + insights and communications strategies to cultural guardianship and UX/CX. Sophy’s 10+ years of experience has included multi-market experiential work, communications planning, advertising and cultural strategy for award-winning, global brands.
