剧情简介 | Men are 3 times more likely to commit suicide than women. For generations, boys from a very young age are encouraged to not express their emotions as it is considered 'weak'. So men tend to bottle their problems up, instead of talking about them or looking for help. VLESP, the Flemish Centre of Expertise in Suicide Prevention, wanted to encourage men to be more open and actively address mental health problems in themselves or in men around them. Our film shows the absurdity of the ‘male silence’. Two men in a car who don’t talk to each other. But the subtitles reveal what goes through their mind. One man is ashamed to talk about his problems, while his friend is reluctant to inquire about how his pal feels. The payoff: No one can read minds. |
