剧情简介 As a small company, we look for ways to make a donation during the holidays that matters to our employees.  A group of young people at our office discovered that every year the amount of trash going into landfills increases by 25% during the holidays.  Not to mention the number of trees cut and ribbon wasted. As a communications company we felt we needed to embrace the Oxfam mission and do our part to reduce waste during this critical time.
 
 
哲学 Give naked.  The double entendre works to make people think twice before investing the time and effort in wrapping their gifts. We also gave them hundreds of ways to give naked with common household items that could be repurposed as wrapping paper.
问题 Landfill waste increases by 25% during the holidays. 30MM Trees are cut down each year to feed the holiday wrapping monster. 
结果 : A follow up survey showed a 99% reduction in wrapping waste at Preston Kelly and clients, vendors and prospects reported significant reductions in gifts wrapped.  Frankly for some it was a good excuse to avoid the annoyance of wrapping ie we gave them a legitimate out.  As added incentive, Preston Kelly via Oxfam planted a tree in the name of each person who submitted "give naked"  ideas, or hash-tagged the site with a tweet.  We planted over 1000 trees during the two week program.  Not bad for a small agency in Minnesota.
