John Marshall has been busy the past 20 years. He's founded and run production companies, produced, directed, and executive produced several thousand commercials, music videos and infomercials.

Marshall's Bud spot was the top commercial at the 2009 Super Bowl, his 2008 Bud commercial taking the honors at the previous year's game.

Marshall worked his way up the ranks in both commercials and feature film, training as he moved forward, as an actor, assistant director, producer and director. His company, Villains, has won the top production company award, given annually by the State of California.
Marshall is also a co-founder of Lite and Hope, a company which endeavors to educate and raise awareness about morbid obesity, doubling as a referral website for gastric bypass surgeons.

He wrote, produced and directed the L & H infomercial with singer Carnie Wilson, the company’s spokesperson. He also directed and produced a live cybercast of the surgery of former USC football star Anthony Davis, a web production which garnered over 2,000,000 hits.
