哲学 | Based on and narrated by its protagonist, this story shows Roger Aparicio, a man who lived four years in prison for a crime he did not commit and seeks to build awareness and empathize around the issue of confinement. The pandemic put us to the test, forced us to be locked up to take care of ourselves and to prevent the spread of the virus. However, living locked up weighs us down and conditions us, it distresses us and with each passing day, it is even more difficult to remain isolated at home. At a time when there is no clarity on the duration of confinement, what better than the voice of a person, who lived a long time locked up, to give us a message of reflection, hope and perspective? Roger Aparicio spent 4 years of his life unjustly locked up, in prison; for a crime that he did not commit and his voice reaches us in the middle of a confinement that seems endless and his story is now told through "The voice of the confinement", an initiative towards empathy and awareness, which will be available for all Latin America through the different media. Roger Joel Aparicio Avendaño was accused of having committed aggravated robbery against the police officer César Aquino, and previously claimed to have been forced to sign the personal search certificate where he recognized the crime, even though he was innocent. On September 3rd, 2013, the Judicial Power in Peru sentenced him to 10 years in prison and from September 2013 to February 2017 he was imprisoned for almost four years. His story is the protagonist of #LaVozDelEncierro, an idea promoted by the Grey México agency and the production house The Kubricks, which seeks to raise awareness about the importance of isolation and see it from another point of view, but also to generate tolerance and empathy with those around us , "Because staying inside is also helping." Now that outbreaks associated with the pandemic have appeared in many countries of the world and that millions of people return to a scene of confinement, #LaVozDelEncierro intends to influence from a different and very human angle in an act necessary for all those who have the possibility to do so : take care of your health and that of everyone by staying at home. |
