哲学 | Idea: In a world full of mass produced ‘stuff’, something of limited edition is highly valued. However, with only 1004 Mountain Gorillas left in the wild, their value has been lost. By simply replacing ‘endangered’ with ‘limited edition’, we reframe the plight of the Mountain Gorilla. We collaborate with a world famous photographer, such as Annie Leibovitz, to take a powerful portrait of a Mountain Gorilla and sell it as a Limited Edition of 1004. We’ll launch the campaign with an art exhibition at a high profile gallery. To reach the world, the 1004 Limited Edition signed portraits will be auctioned off on the original auction site, eBay. The portraits will go to the highest bidders with 100% of the proceeds going to Gorilla Doctors. |
