剧情简介 | Remote areas, illiteracy and a traditional bias against vaccines mean that Afghanistan has a vaccination completion rate of just 50%. Doctors face a lack of immunization history as parents do not maintain vaccination cards. The solution was another Afghan tradition: a beaded bracelet worn by infants to ward off evil forces. The Immunity Charm comprises coloured beads, each bead representing a specific vaccine. For every vaccination given, doctors simply add the corresponding bead to the bracelet. |
