标题 | How Can We Keep People With Dementia Read |
Brief | A world first for The Alzheimer League: books rewritten for people with Alzheimer’s. The project “Simplified Stories” launched with the biography of Belgian pop star Stromae. By simplifying the book, there were fewer elements to remember, making it more accessible for Alzheimer’s sufferers. The core of the story remained, but nearly 8,000 words were removed. At the bottom of each page there was a one-sentence summary, and every chapter was summarised at the beginning of the next. |
