Doner Boosts Strategy Team with Two Key New Hires

Today, full-service advertising agency Doner announces the appointments of Lauren Turner as EVP, Brand Strategist, and Natalia Casas as VP, Brand Strategy. Turner will manage strategy across the agency’s portfolio of Johnson & Johnson brands, while Casas will focus on Johnson & Johnson brand Lubriderm, as well as the newly awarded Travelocity business. Both Turner and Casas will reporter to Chief Strategy Officer Jane Goodman.

“Data-driven strategy and transcultural insights fuel the creativity of our agency,” said David DeMuth, CEO of Doner. “By adding Lauren, a CPG expert and Natalia, an experienced multicultural strategist we can bring our clients ideas that live beyond advertising and make deeper connections with all audiences.”

An award-winning strategist, Turner has extensive experience when it comes to creatively building memorable brands. Previously, she served as SVP, Group Planning Director at Saatchi & Saatchi NY, where she led strategy for P&G Fabric Care brands Tide Gain, Bounce, and Downy. Lauren also held the roles of SVP, Executive Strategy Director at McCann NY, and SVP, Group Planning Director at mcgarrybowen New York.

“Doner has a long history of creating iconic CPG brands that connect so strongly with consumers, these brands become a key part of people’s lives,” Turner said. “To me, it’s exciting to be part of an agency and Johnson & Johnson team that is using data, cultural insights and creativity to forge powerful and enduring connections with consumers.”

Casas leverages her love of storytelling, people, and culture to develop strategies that resonate with wide audiences. Prior to Doner, she served as Strategy Director at Dietse Health and Conill and Senior Strategist at Grey/Wing. Casas has worked in the area of multicultural advertising for over 12 years.

“In speaking with the Doner team, it became evident that the agency brings strong, transcultural strategic thinking to its work,” Casas said. “I am excited to join Doner to continue to contribute to the transcultural view of the country and the world. To go deeper into the “culturas” and talk to our clients and our community beyond race and ethnicity. We’re all one market, and you have to look beyond race and background.”

These hires come on the heels of Johnson & Johnson’s recent decision to move its U.S. baby brands over to Doner. Turner and Casas begin in their roles immediately.
