MullenLowe Lintas Group announces headquarters relocation
The agency moves from Express Towers at Nariman Point to the city’s business district Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
MullenLowe Lintas Group has announced a relocation from its headquarters in Express Towers office located at Nariman Point to the city’s modern and new business district Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The move is strategic to its singular market proposition of being a ‘hyper-bundled’ advertising agency that offers all its services under one roof.
Express Towers, once the tallest skyscraper of India that adorned the Bombay skyline, has been home to Lintas since 1971. Lintas has been one of the few companies at Express Towers that has occupied the building for over four decades. Even as the employee strength increased year on year and two new office spaces at Lower Parel were taken on lease, the agency’s leadership continued to operate out of its Express Towers office.
The new office at BKC has been designed from scratch. It has been built on the key pillars of agility, collaboration, employee wellness, and high-end technology, which will support all of our people in continuing to delight our clients.
Commenting about moving from a place that’s been an important part of Lintas, Amer Jaleel, group CCO & chairman, MullenLowe Lintas Group, said: “As I stand in the new premises and watch the office come up around me I can’t help but think of how Lintas was said to be the only surviving SoBo agency for the 48 years that we belted out one strong ground-breaking campaign after another. Work that never even remotely looked SoBo!
Well, we were, and we will continue to be MidInd, bang in the core of the consciousness of the country in our insights and our executions. We moved when we were ready with our new hyper-bundled agency offering and our central Mumbai office is also symbolic of how we intend to be with our clients and brands, tentacle-ing outwards in all directions from the centre!”
Located near the MCA at Bandra Kurla Complex, the office boasts single floor-plate of 36,000 sq ft designed keeping in mind the group’s rapid march towards becoming a future-facing agency. It intends to promote a collaborative work environment where ideas and information can flow seamlessly allowing its multiple marketing disciplines to integrate and build successful campaigns. Additionally, BKC offers its clients a strong advantage with the group now being in close proximity with most of its client base in Mumbai.

The agency will begin operations at its new office from July 1, 2019.
