概要
Pablo Walker is President of McCann Worldgroup Europe. Previous to his promotion to this this post in July 2014, Pablo served as President, McCann Worldgroup Latin America & Caribbean. Before this role he served as Managing Director for Latin America and Caribbean, which encompasses 21 countries and 27 offices and is one of McCann Worldgroup’s four major geographic regions.
With more than 20 years at McCann Worldgroup, including three years as Assistant Manager for McCann Rio de Janeiro, Pablo has devoted most of his career to McCann. While still a university student, he was hired by McCann Erickson Chile as an account assistant. In 1988, he was transferred to McCann Brazil as VP and assistant manager for the Rio de Janeiro office. After three years, Pablo came back from Brazil to Chile and founded Sepia, his own advertising agency, where he served as CEO. In 1996, he returned to McCann Erickson Chile as CEO.
Pablo was named Area Manager of McCann’s Latin America’s Southern Cone in 2006, leading all McCann Worldgroup’s operations in Argentina, Chile and Peru. He was also in charge of overseeing the affiliates McCann has in Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay.
In May 2011, he assumed the position of Regional Director Latin America & Caribbean. From 2011 to 2013, he was responsible for all of Latin America’s digital creative product and for the regional launch of Craft Worldwide, McCann Worldgroup´s production company.
During his career, Pablo has served as President of The Chilean Council for Advertising Self Regulation and Ethics (CONAR). He held the position of Vice President of the Chilean Advertising Agencies Association (ACHAP).
He has won numerous awards, among them the “H.K. McCann” Award, the “Advertiser of the Year” Prize awarded by AChAP, the “Outstanding Social Communicator” Prize awarded by the Universidad del Pacífico, and the “Outstanding Communicator” Prize granted by the Universidad de Las Americas. In addition to his responsibilities at McCann Worldgroup, he currently serves as Director in “Fundación Imagen de Chile”.
