Jan Piet Stempels has been in the Marketing Business for more than 20 years. In 1991 he started his career at Springer & Jacoby – one of the leading advertising agencies of that decade in Germany. After completing his marketing apprenticeship at the agency, he worked there for nearly 10 years both in Hamburg and in London as Client Service Director for brands like Mercedes-Benz or Deutsche Telekom.After Springer & Jacoby, Jan Piet crossed over to the client side in 2000 when he became the Marketing Director for some of the main brands of Germanys largest Publishing House Gruner+Jahr (e.g. STERN, GEO, NEON, BRIGITTE, GALA)Jan Piet has been a passionate Marketer ever since and knows the business inside out. He has experienced the challenges the business presents from both the Advertiser and Agency perspectives.
