Makers Adds Two Senior Global Hires Amidst Growth Spree

Makers, the largest global producer network for global brands, has added two senior hires to bolster the ongoing growth of its producer-first model. Fezz Stenton, based in Toronto, has been appointed as Creative Technologist, a newly created position at the company, and Will Olsen, based in London, has been appointed as Associate Director of Production of Makers Europe. In 2022, Makers has increased its full-time staff by 35%, adding 10 new hires in the summer alone.

Stenton and Olsen join Makers amidst a growth spree at the company, which recently launched its global producer network of more than 11,000 producers in 173 countries. Makers also recently opened Makers Europe, acquired independent production company Fixation.TV, and expanded into the U.S. following consistent growth of its North American business.

Stenton operates at the intersection of art, technology, music, and science. Whether he’s designing unique spaces or building 3D visualizations of potential concepts, Fezz brings unparalleled knowledge of digital innovation to the Makers team. As Creative Technologist, Stenton will partner with Makers producers to augment creative ideas with innovation, such as immersive technology, live experiences, and rapid prototyping. Prior to Makers, he was partner and technical director at Occupied VR, an immersive media and entertainment company, where he focused on pushing the boundaries of what immersive VR and 360 video can do for clients like Vice, Samsung, and Lincoln.

As Associate Director of Production with Makers Europe, Olsen will be responsible for supervising all facets of Makers productions, ensuring they are executed at the highest quality. Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Olsen was previously Head of Production at Fixation.TV and was instrumental in the success of hundreds of global client projects before joining forces with Makers. Prior to Fixation, he was Head of Film Operations/EP at Eric Film Productions and Maverick Advertising & Design, both in London.
