STINK SIGNS TRAKTOR OUTSIDE US & UK

Stink Films is pleased to announce that the Scandinavian film making collective Traktor has signed for global representation outside of the UK and US.

Notoriously enigmatic, directors Mats Lindberg, Sam Larsson, Pontus Lowenhielm, Patrik von Krusenstjerna, Ole Sanders and producer Richard Ulfvengren met while at film school and blazed onto the commerical and music promo landscape shortly thereafter.

Known for their fresh and funny work, the gang are as celebrated for their commercial work including FedEx, Diesel Jeans, Fox Sports, Boots, NIKE, Adidas, Miller Lite, Volvo, MTV, Levi’s, Heineken and Virgin Atlantic, as they are for their off the hook music promos for Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Madonna, The Prodigy and The Flaming Lips. Recently credited with being the most award winning directors of the decade, their accolades include two Grand Prix at Cannes, an additional thirty Lions (6 Gold just in the last year)  an Emmy for outstanding commercial and nominations for a Grammy and another five Emmys. At this year’s Clios, Traktor also won three golds (including Best Direction) and a silver.

Stink’s President, Daniel Bergmann, said: "Traktor are the most unique grouping of talent on all levels – their creativity, work ethic, their amazing, charming work and as fun people - the joy of which they share with everyone, in their music videos and commercials and their notorious parties in Cannes where everyone got in and regretted doing so the next morning! Finally having Traktor on the Stink roster is a dream come true for me. We’re all super exited to be part of this ride and can’t wait to begin crafting a new chapter in our respective creative stories.”

Traktor said about joining Stink: “For stupid reasons we have never really been proactive in any other markets than the US and the UK. We tended to just stumble over fun assignments from places near and far, like a chap with a faulty metal detector on the beachfront of modern living. Buzz buzz. We wanted to find out what was out there in the wider world and rather than sign with a dozen different production companies we chose a one-stop hot-shop to keep it streamlined. And now we can just bug Daniel who likes being bugged. Let’s get globular!”
