Derin Seale

Born into a family of filmmakers and spending most of his childhood on set, Seale spoke the language of cinema before any other. Passionate about dramatic storytelling, he handles epic visuals and intense action with the same ease as the complex emotions of actors and the subtle art of building stories through images. Derin has directed high profile international commercial campaigns next to his extensive Hollywood experience, directing sequences for The Talented Mr Ripley and Cold Mountain. A self confessed escapist, he describes himself as being “most inspired by classically dramatic but visually imaginative stories.”

The Bobbsey's won’t beat you over the head with gags, they’d prefer to do that with physical objects. Tim and Freddy are the kind of creative force that fly in and make it all seem easy - but underneath all that absurd, punchy humor is a feverish directorial talent with a strong, stripped back aesthetic that leaves you wanting more.

Tomas Mankovsky

Tomas Mankovsky studied Advertising and Design at Beckmans College in Stockholm and his 2004 exam project, the short film Little Big Love, went on to win numerous awards including one at Stockholm Film Festival and earning him the Young Swedish Design Scholarship and the new talent Chicken Scholarship at the Swedish Golden Eggs. Upon graduating Tomas was offered a job at Fallon in London and moved to work professionally in advertising. During his time as a creative Tomas worked on some of the most creatively acclaimed ad campaigns for Sony, Orange, Cadbury and BBC earning him over 25 coveted advertising awards from Cannes, D&AD, Clios, Epica, BTAA and the Creative Circle. In 2008 he was named a Creative Futures by Creative Review as well as a Young Gun by the Art Directors Club in New York. While working at Fallon Tomas shot the short film Sorry I'm Late, which became a viral success and ultimately led him back to directing. Mankovsky's desire to work closely with ideas and the whole creative process made him jump ship and join production company Blink in 2009. Over the course of his 6-year directing career, Mankovsky has created an impressive and eclectic body of work including commercials, music videos and short films. He has helmed spots for clients such as IKEA, Diesel, H&M, Cadbury, Nissan, O2, Infiniti, Telia and E-on. Recently, Tomas directed a beautiful one shot film for TAC with Clemenger BBDO in Melbourne. He also helmed projects for the British lifeboat organization RNLI with Leo Burnett London and UEFA Champions League idents for Playstation with 180 Amsterdam. Mankovsky's most recent short film Grace has just been released and will be screened at film festivals in 2015/2016. Tomas lives in east London with his wife and daughter.
