A: An award at Cannes, not Festival of Creativity but the Feature film.
If I said 'Hey I won an award at Cannes!' in this industry
people would think it's Cannes Lions.
I wonder how people react when I say 'I've got one at Cannes FILM Festival.'

Q: How much of an artistic license can you get away with?
How much freedom should a director be given?

A: A director should be given as much freedom as he /she wants in creativity unless his/her work make viewers unhappy,
or unless it is against social ethics.
In reality I cannot get away from the schedule and the budget.

Q: You are shooting a TVC in a faraway land and can only bring 3 crew members from home, Which ones? 1st AD, DoP, Art director, wardrobe, gaffer,....?
A: A 1st AD who can also be the interpreter both on/off shooting, DoP, sound recordist.
