ROGUE is delighted to welcome director Georgi Banks-Davies to the roster.

Kate Taylor first signed Georgi three years ago at SKUNK London, where she and Georgi built her career at a considerable rate; taking Georgi from relatively unknown in the UK market, to one of the most exciting and in demand directors on the scene. With Kate as her EP, Georgi directed critically acclaimed films for Lexus, Carwow, Audi and the third installment in the massive Sport England ‘This Girl Can’ campaign. Her two short films both premiered at The Palm Springs Festival: ‘The Fight’ and the very successful ‘Garfield’, which also played at Sundance 2018 and won a Gold Shark at Kinsale. Georgi is currently in post-production on her debut TV drama series ‘I Hate Suzie’, co-created and executive produced by Billie Piper and Lucy Prebble (Succession) for Sky Atlantic.

With SKUNK deciding to close the London office, it’s only natural that Georgi joins Kate at Rogue for UK and European representation. Kate says Working with Georgi has been one of the highlights of my career, so to have her back in the building with me is the dream. She is a unique talent with immense promise. A joy and an inspiration to work with, Georgi’s top quality reel sits perfectly within the Rogue roster, standing out as unique and multifaceted whilst complementing the essence of what we do. I can’t wait to see Georgi flourish further here at Rogue”.

Georgi’s career as a director started shortly after working in the BBC creative department, creating promos.  She was approached by CNN international and asked to join the creative team as lead director.  Georgi travelled the world and met and told the stories of some remarkable people including Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, infamous politician and Donald Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani, Leader of the Soviet Union and Nobel Peace Prize winner Mikhail Gorbachev - and her personal hero, Martin Scorsese.

A narrative director at heart, Georgi’s passion for photography, cars and football alongside her incredible talent for capturing intimate human emotion, epic landscapes and real style have seen her go on to direct commercials for such brands as Sport England, Audi, Lexus, Coca Cola, Nike, O2 and AT&T and win awards at Creative Circle, Epica, Kinsale, Clios and the One Show.

Charlie Crompton, co-founder of Rogue, says Georgi is such an exciting talent - she’s exactly what London needs now that she’s back from her Sky Drama. And you can see why there’s so much interest in her - she’s a thrillingly versatile young director, moving effortlessly from documentary to drama to beautiful photographic sports and car work… I’m delighted she’s now a Rogue and we can’t wait to get started.”

Having broken conventions and been involved with so many brave and original scripts, Georgi is excited to see what new opportunities arise now she’s at Rogue. With the support of Charlie Crompton, Kate Taylor and James Howland, Georgi has high hopes…

“YAY! Best sums up my excitement to officially being a Rogue, on a roster of so many directors I fan-girl over. I can’t wait to jump back into ad-land, alongside my EP extraordinaire Kate.“
