Electriclime° and University of Technology Sydney launch internship program honoring Grace Rached

Electriclime°, an award-winning video production house, has partnered with University of Technology Sydney (UTS) to launch the Grace Rached Internship program.

Grace was an intelligent individual who had completed Bachelor of Communication, majoring in Media Arts and Production and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Studies from UTS. Her passion and love for the film industry had only grown while she worked with electriclime° on projects for clients like Clipsal, Air+, Diablo, and Betr.

The Grace Rached Internship program will offer UTS students the opportunity to work with electriclime° and gain first-hand experience in commercial production while growing their skills in the industry. The program hopes to motivate aspiring professionals to follow their dreams while keeping the memory of Grace and her ideals alive. Shahn Devendran, the Executive Producer of electriclime°, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, adding that his team was honored to continue keeping Grace's legacy alive.

Jenna Parker is the first candidate for this program, after being selected from a pool of several talented candidates from UTS. Grace Rached's mother, Joan, was grateful for the recognition of her daughter's work and passion, sharing that "we hope this internship has the same positive impact on future candidates as it did on Grace, and in turn our lives."

The Grace Rached Internship program is a positive step toward nurturing the next generation of young professionals within the blossoming film industry in Australia. Indeed Grace's legacy and the program named in her honor will inspire a new crop of professionals.
