Production Assistant, Segment Unit
Full-time, Regular, Non-Exempt
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as our PA, Segment Unit is integral in the coordination of many of the production elements involved with the broadcast and online broadcast. You’ll work with senior producers, producers, editors and other staff. You’ll also be responsible for a diverse range of writing, research, editing, production, and tracking services to support the PBS NewsHour.
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
You’ll get to know your team and the wider organization, and how each group functions independently as well as part of the whole. You’ll establish key relationships with your peers and other staff you regularly work with. You’ll start to be recognized and known for your exceptional work.
