Marcus has worked on some of the nation’s top brands and has been the strategic mind
behind dozens of winning campaigns for clients ranging from BMW and Purina Dog
Chow to Dairy Queen and Target. Current successful efforts on behalf of Carmichael
Lynch clients Subaru and U.S. Bank each owe their genesis to his unparalleled instincts
and analytic work. His achievements have been recognized by the most respected
creative and strategic competitions in marketing, including the One Show, the Webby
Awards and the Effies, where he frequently serves as a judge.
As president and managing partner of Carmichael Lynch, Julie oversees the leadership
and direction of the agency. She is the lead catalyst for integration of all agency
offerings, bringing clients a holistic, cross-discipline approach to their marketing
challenges. This unique ability to activate multiple and distinct agency resources based
on individual client needs has accelerated growth for clients and agency alike.
Julie’s food and CPG experience runs deep. She has led strategic, creative campaigns
for top brands such as General Mills, Hormel Foods, Jack Link’s, Jennie-O Turkey, DSM,
Ocean Spray, the Schwan Food Company, United Soybean Board, Washington Apple
Association, the Wheat Foods Council and many others.
Julie has earned industry-wide recognition for her work, including Silver Anvils, Effie
Awards,SABREs and PR Week Awards, among others, on behalf of some of the most
prestigious brands in the world. She has been individually recognized as a recipient
of two Stevie Awards in the categories of Female Executive of the Year and Woman
of the Year and a Working Mother of the Year by She Runs It (formerly AWNY). Most
recently, she was named in PRWeek’s 2019 Hall of Femme — a list of female leaders in
the communications industry who challenge the status quo, move the needle in business
and strive to make a difference.
As chief creative officer and a managing partner, Marty oversees creative direction
on all of the agency’s clients.
In his nearly 20-year career, Marty has created award-winning, cross-platform ideas
for brands around the world, including Levi’s, Google, Ray-Ban, Jeep, Time Magazine,
the BBC, and the NBA. His work has been recognized by The One Show, Cannes
Lions, Communication Arts, and the Effies. Prior to Carmichael Lynch, Marty worked at
agencies in New York, London, San Francisco, Boston, and Seattle.
As Chief Financial Officer and managing partner, John leads Carmichael Lynch’s strategic finance discipline during its continued growth. He has been with the agency for 15 years and took on the role in 2018 after serving as the agency’s director of financial planning and analysis for past five years.
Prior to joining Carmichael Lynch, John spent two years as a financial operations manager at food manufacturing giant General Mills, Inc. Before that he worked as a senior financial analyst at the Pillsbury Company. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young after graduating from St. Cloud State University with a B.S. in accounting.

Lachlan Badenoch joined Carmichael Lynch with a 20-year award-winning track record driving business thinking and marketing innovations for clients such as McDonald’s, Carlsberg, BMW, Virgin, Nestlé, General Mills and many others.
Lachlan started his strategy career at Leo Burnett London, where he helped pioneer digital and brand entertainment projects during one of the agency’s most decorated eras, including numerous awards for McDonald’s.
Lachlan came to the U.S. to be planning director for the BMW account at his previous agency, during which time he won the IPA Effectiveness Award for a BMW Films series and received a Gold Effie for the “Brawny Academy” web-only reality series. That role led him to Paris, where he directed global strategy for Publicis Groupe’s multimarket, multiagency clients, including Nestlé, the Coca-Cola Company and Orange. He joined Carmichael Lynch Relate in 2016 as chief strategy officer to reignite his passion for world-class, cross-channel communications that matches rigorous brand and business strategies.
Lachlan graduated with degrees in engineering and communication theory from Napier Edinburgh University in Scotland.
Stacy leads Carmichael Lynch’s account management department, which delivers strategic
leadership to clients and oversees increasingly collaborative efforts within the agency. Her
experience spans diverse business categories, including retail, consumer packaged goods,
banking, outdoor recreation, telecommunications and health care.
Stacy has also served in account leadership roles at Colle + McVoy, Campbell Mithun
and Martin Williams for clients including ESPN, Old Navy, Caribou Coffee, General Mills,
Anheuser-Busch, Conagra, Microsoft, 3M, Bruegger’s Bagels and Verizon Cellular. Stacy has
contributed to work heralded by the O’Toole Awards, PRSA, Webby Awards, Effie Awards and
The One Show.
Erika Collins leads business development efforts for Carmichael Lynch, focusing on acquiring and building successful new client relationships. Since joining the agency in 2011, she has continuously identified ways for prospective new clients to engage with the agency in a rapidly-evolving industry.
She has recently led team efforts to win new client assignments from Red Wing Shoe Company, Celestial Seasonings, U.S. Bank, Garden of Life, Formica Corporation, Truvia and Schwan’s Company, among many others.
Erika has worked her entire career in new business roles, beginning at Martin Williams Advertising, where in addition to her new business responsibilities, she led account management efforts for pro bono client Finnegans Irish Amber. Her team’s rebranding work for Finnegans contributed to a record sales year in 2010 and was recognized with an Effie Award for business effectiveness.
Erika has a passion for women’s leadership and is an active mentor to young women in advertising and public relations through various organizations. She is equally passionate about supporting and retaining parents at the agency and created an internal mentorship program to support new parents returning to work.
Erika received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota.
Orlee is the director of integrated production and a senior partner at Carmichael Lynch.
Her natural curiosity makes her a resourceful, creative leader overseeing work ranging from
multimillion dollar brand campaigns to smaller budget work focused on creating multiple
pieces of versatile content and, increasingly, things that have never been made before.
Before moving to Minnesota, Orlee spent 16 years in New York. She journeyed from planning
to design to account management before finding her true niche as a producer, first at BBH
then at Wieden + Kennedy, New York, where she spent the past nine years working on brands
like Ford, Sprite, Vitamin Water, Nike/Jordan, Spotify, Bud Light, ESPN and Southern Comfort.
Neil found his way into advertising like many media folks: completely by accident. It’s been a great way to exercise his analytical and problem solving skills, while also building brands and relationships. He has brought this expertise to brands ranging from financial to automotive, including State Farm, Subaru, Johnson & Johnson, FTD, Wrigley and Harley-Davidson among them.
Neil began his career at Campbell Mithun, then spent time in Chicago at DDB and OMD before returning to the Twin Cities for a tour on the client side, working for General Mills. He joined the ranks of Carmichael Lynch in 2004.
Neil is a thought leader in his own right, bringing innovative thinking and progressive, strategic approaches to media partnerships and activations. And it has served him well – Neil’s work has been heralded by the Effie Awards, the O’Toole Awards, and multiple Media Plan of the Year awards.
Originally from Canada, Neil would love to explain the sport of curling to you – he still plays near his home in St. Paul – or enter into an in-depth discussion about the expanding craft beer scene. Neil enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and occasionally finds time to slip away to the golf course.
Milton Un joined Carmichael Lynch in 2017 where he oversees design projects for clients including Jack Link’s, Arla, Evereve, and others. Truly a creative jack-of-all-trades, Milton’s extensive background spans design, art direction and illustration, and he has a storied history working on award-winning campaigns for top brands such as Nike, Apple, ESPN, Adidas, Pentagram and Red Bull, among others. Most recently, Milton spearheaded an ambitious campaign for Jack Link’s, which included a “station domination” taking over light rail stop outside the 2017 X Games with bold posters, animations and other custom content.
Before joining the agency, Milton headed design at Minneapolis-based agencies including Fallon, mono and Olson. He previously served as design director at Target Corporation
