Olson, an ICF International company, today named Jurene Fremstad senior vice president for strategy.
Fremstad, who served as director of strategy at Mono since 2012, will be charged with managing all media, analytics, anthropology and integrated brand strategy functions across the agency.
“We’re thrilled to add a leader of Jurene’s caliber to our senior-leadership team,” said John Partilla, executive vice president for ICF International and CEO of Olson. “She shares our ambition to revolutionize engagement and has a track record of helping clients do exactly that.”
Fremstad boasts 18 years of strategic planning experience on brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Target, Luxottica, PepsiCo and Revlon. In addition to leading strategy at Mono, she has also worked at a number of leading agencies including Deutsch, where she was senior vice president/group account planning director, and spent time at Mother, Naked and Euro. A leader in the industry, Fremstad co-founded the New York chapter of the Account Planning Group and co-led the 2004 Account Planning Conference of the American Association of Advertising Agencies. She has also guest lectured at both Columbia University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Fremstad joins Olson amid a period of robust growth and rising ambitions, highlighted by double-digit revenue growth during 2014. She will sit on Olson’s Executive Leadership Team and report to Olson President Margaret Murphy.
