Queensland, a state in the northeast region of Australia located along the beautiful Great Barrier Reef, is known to many as a beach destination.
“I Know Just The Place,” J. Walter Thompson Sydney’s new creative brand platform for Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), is designed to redefine Queensland, showcasing a range of experiences that illustrate that the State is much more than just a beach.
The campaign, JWT Sydney’s first since being appointed by TEQ in July, features proud locals as the stars.
Simon Langley, Executive Creative Director at J. Walter Thompson Sydney contributed, “Queensland is much more than a ‘sunny beach break’. It has a depth and breadth of experiences that are just what today’s traveller is looking for. The objective of our new creative approach is to bring this to life by showing the real Queensland. And no-one knows what the real Queensland has to offer like local Queenslanders do. So the ‘I know just the place’ creative platform leverages welcoming locals revealing the amazing experiences that they know best.”
