Top Creative Talent Drawn to The Mars Agency

The Mars Agency continues to grow the size and expertise of its world-class creative roster with a talented addition to the London team. Derek Bain has joined as the new executive creative director in London, the agency’s European hub.

Bain hails from renowned agencies, including Euro RSCG KLP of the Havas Group, where he worked alongside The Mars Agency’s newly named Global Chief Creative Officer Rob Macdonald. Bain joins the ranks of three existing global ECDs who are based in TMA’s Chicago, Detroit, and Bentonville locations.

“Having seen how much Derek has achieved over the last eight years as a creative director at top agencies, he was our first and only choice to lead our creative work across Europe,” said Macdonald.

Bain brings more than 20 years of creative experience across a range of different channels and disciplines, working with coveted brands from PepsiCo, Coca-Cola and Nestlé to Nokia, Virgin Media and Sony Ericsson. He arrives at the perfect moment, after Mars has earned several significant new business wins over the past couple of months. Bain’s addition also falls in line with the agency’s continued growth and expansion across Europe and beyond.
