The Faculty of Economics (FE) (Slovene: Ekonomska fakulteta, EF) in Ljubljana is part of the University of Ljubljana and was founded in 1946. It was one of the first faculties in country to establish new internationally comparable Bologna 3+2 programmes in 2005.  In 2006 the FE was awarded EQUIS accreditation. In 2010 FE received business accreditation from AACSB International
